The inclusive package at the Wyndham Cozumel Hotel & Resort offers lodging, hotel tax, gratuities for bell staff and housekeepers, all meals (most are buffet-style), snacks, and beverages including coffee, tea, juice, bottled water, soft drinks and domestic alcohol. Paid directly to the resort is a USD $1.80 per night Eco Tax.
The diving portion of the package adds a welcome shore tank for buoyancy/equipment check, and 2-tank morning Caribbean boat trips.
Divers wanting to do shore dives beyond the day of arrival can rent shore tanks, weights and belts from the Cozumel team for $10 each. We have limited storage space at our shop and need advance notice the day prior to when shore tanks are wanted.
You also have the option of adding 1-tank afternoon trips: each trip is $52 per diver. I'm working with a group now that is alternating afternoon dive trips and boat night dives ~ Monday afternoon boat dive, Tuesday evening boat night dive, etc. Each boat night dive is $59 per diver.
Marine park fees of MX pesos $97 per diver per day are paid directly to the Cozumel team when on-island, in cash only, MX pesos preferred but US cash is accepted. Gratuities for the dive staff are at your discretion.
Our packages include 80 cf tanks with standard compressed air. If divers would like anything different, here are details for you ~
63 cf tanks, air -- no additional charge (63 cf tanks are not available with nitrox fills)
80 cf tank, nitrox -- $10 per cylinder additional when paid in advance or on island *
100 cf tank, air -- $10 per cylinder additional when paid in advance or on island *
100 cf tank, nitrox -- $16 per cylinder additional when paid in advance or on island *
* Nitrox is non-refundable for tanks not used or missed dives
The hotel owns lockers at the dive shop, conveniently located right by the rinse tanks. Keys for the lockers are available from the front desk when you check in. The lockers are quite large, plenty big enough for a full set of equipment. We have hangers for wetsuits and racks and pegs for BCDs, fins, booties, etc., after you've dunked your equipment. We suggest storing it in the locker overnight, as the area is public. Each room at the resort also has pegs and bars on the balcony or patio for drying gear you do not wish to leave in the locker.
If you need to rent any diving equipment, our scuba kit is $25/day and includes mask, fins, BCD, regulator with SPG. During COVID we are not including snorkels or mouthpieces on the primary or octopus of the regulator. You can bring your own (need 2 mouthpieces + zip ties) or purchase the 'basic black' version from us for $6 each. Payment for rental equipment is made directly to the dive shop when on-island.
